BOARD RESIGNATION

Erika Leonard, the head of the Jefferson City School Board, has decided to leave her position. Her resignation will take effect at the beginning of December. The school board will look over her resignation letter and talk about filling her spot at their next meeting. Leonard explained her decision

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson has announced that his entire hand-picked Board of Education will be stepping down. This has sparked criticism from 41 out of 50 aldermen, who warn of further instability in the school district. They're demanding a hearing before new board members are appointed on Monda
