Tom Cruise is on a roll.  He has been in the Mission: Impossible series for nearly 30 years.  He is not stopping anytime soon.  He is 62 years old.  He has been quoted as saying he wants to keep making movies until he is 100 years old.  He is not just talking about action movies.  He is talking about all types of movies.  He is excited about his future in the movie industry.  He is not just excited about making movies.  He is excited about the different types of movies he can make.  He is excited about the different roles he can play.  He is excited about the different challenges he can take on.

The Mission: Impossible franchise started in 1996.  It has been a long journey for Cruise.  He has worked with many different people.  He has worked with many different filmmakers.  He has worked with many different crews.  He has worked with many different people from many different cultures.  He has learned a lot from these experiences.  He has learned about storytelling.  He has learned about life.  He has learned about leadership.  He has learned about character.  He has learned about every aspect of filmmaking.  He feels fortunate to be able to make the movies he makes.  He loves making movies.

The Mission: Impossible franchise has been a big part of Cruise's life.  He has been in eight movies in the franchise.  The latest movie is called The Final Reckoning.  It is being billed as the last movie in the franchise for Cruise's character, Ethan Hunt.  Cruise confirmed this on the red carpet.  He said, "It's the final! It's not called 'final' for nothing. "  He has been quoted as saying he was inspired by Harrison Ford's career.  Ford is 80 years old.  Cruise wants to keep making Mission: Impossible movies until he is Ford's age.  He was asked about this quote.  He was asked if his mind had been changed.  He said, "I actually said I'm going to make movies into my 80s; actually, I'm going to make them into my 100s. "  He wants to keep making movies.  He wants to keep doing action.  He wants to keep doing drama.  He wants to keep doing comedy.  He is excited about his future in the movie industry.

The Final Reckoning premiered in New York on Sunday night.  It premiered in Cannes last week.  It is continuing its journey around the world.  It will hit theaters on Friday.  The movie stars many different actors.  It stars Hayley Atwell, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Greg Tarzan Davis, Angela Bassett, Esai Morales, Henry Czerny, Charles Parnell, Holt McCallany, Nick Offerman, Tramell Tillman, and Katy O'Brian.  Christopher McQuarrie is back in the director's chair for his fourth Mission: Impossible film.  He described his collaboration with Cruise.  He called him, "The most giving, most game — he's down for anything.  Whether or not he understands something, he's fully willing to jump into something, whether he feels it or not.  He's a great teacher and a great student. "

Cruise has been asked about his traditions before taking on the film’s massive stunts.  He joked, "There’s a lot of pre-stunt rituals that keep me alive — it depends on what I’m doing and the amount of preparation I have to do.  A lot of thought goes into it, and they are very complex and very interesting. "  He is known for doing his own stunts.  He is known for pushing himself to the limit.
