Or we might want to use a mask when cleaning out the dryer.

The composition of dryer lint is important for another reason.  It can tell us about the materials that are being recycled.  This is important because recycling is good for the environment.  But we need to make sure that the materials we are recycling are safe.  The study highlighted the need to understand the sources of these metals in clothing.
