Kootenai Health and Idaho State University have teamed up to make it happen with their Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Perfect for those with a bachelor's degree in any field, this program promises a fast track to becoming a registered nurse.

Could you really be a nurse in just 12 months? This accelerated program certainly speeds things up, but is a year enough to truly master the complex skills needed in healthcare?

What if you're not sure what classes you need? Before you apply, you'll need to chat with an ISU academic advisor.

They'll help determine if you need to take any prerequisite courses.

But, does this extra step add unnecessary complexity to the application process? Think you can handle it? The program says most applicants need two or three more classes before they're ready. That might seem doable, especially if you're already working.

But, can you really balance work, life, and intensive coursework simultaneously? The application window opens on November 15th and closes February 15th, 2025.

The next cohort starts in May 2025.
