In Bucks County, Joe Khan became the first Democrat to be elected as district attorney, and Danny Ceisler won the sheriff’s race against Republican Fred Harran. Delaware County remained under Democratic control.

Some suburban voters decided on ballot questions about tax increases. These increases would fund open space preservation and local policing.
