The LGBTQ+ community in India has long been a part of society, but they have only recently begun to step into the spotlight. While many aspects of their lives have been studied, their clothing choices and experiences have often been overlooked. This oversight is surprising, given that clothing is a powerful way to express identity. A recent study aimed to fill this gap by exploring the clothing struggles of India's LGBTQ+ community.

For instance, some participants talked about the struggle of finding clothes that fit well and made them feel comfortable. Others discussed the importance of certain styles or colors in expressing their identity. Future studies could explore these themes in more depth or look at other aspects of clothing, such as the role of accessories or the significance of certain fabrics or colors.
