Workers at a big tech company recently lost their jobs after a bold move. They entered an executive's office to make a statement. This happened at Microsoft's headquarters in Redmond, Washington. Two employees, Riki Fameli and Anna Hattle, were part of a group called No Azure for Apartheid. They wanted Microsoft to stop doing business with Israel.

The group planned a sit-in at Microsoft President Brad Smith's office. Police arrested seven people that day. They were charged with trespassing and resisting arrest. The police are still looking into what happened.

Brad Smith talked about the incident in an online meeting. He said the workplace should be safe for everyone. He mentioned that the group left phones hidden around the office. This was to record what was happening. Smith also said the group refused to leave when asked.

This is not the first time tech workers have protested like this. Last year, Google fired 28 employees for similar actions. They were protesting Google's deal with the Israeli government.

The group No Azure for Apartheid said more details about their campaign will come soon. This event raises questions about how far workers can go to make their voices heard.
