As the world slept, the West Bank woke up to a deadly dawn. The Israeli Defense Forces launched a drone airstrike in the city of Tubas, killing five young Palestinians.

The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed the tragic news, while the Palestinian Red Crescent Society condemned the Israeli occupation's attacks on its crews.

Samaria, a biblical term used by Israel to refer to the northern area of the West Bank, has been a hotbed of conflict for decades.

The Palestinian Red Crescent Society's medical teams transferred five bodies from Tawheed Mosque in Tubas to the hospital, while in the nearby town of Tulkarm, a paramedic was targeted with live bullets while treating an injured person.

A Helicopter crash claimed the lives of two IDF soldiers.

So far, at least 36 Palestinians have been killed in a nine-day operation in the West Bank Tubas, Tulkarm, and Jenin areas.

Children were among those killed.
