The researchers then developed two models using the data. The first was an e-Xtreme gradient boosting (XGB) model, which had an AUC of 0. 830 and an accuracy of 0. 781. The second was a logistic regression (LR) model, which performed even better with an AUC of 0. 990 and an accuracy of 0. 964. These results suggest that combining lipidomics, the study of lipids, with machine learning could be a powerful tool for diagnosing the cause of death and the stage of AIHD.
