Vance.

Buttigieg began his speech by introducing himself as 'the guy from Fox News,' before swiftly moving on to criticize Vance. He quipped, 'Don't even get me started on [Donald Trump's] new running mate,' which was met with boos from the audience. The former mayor then proceeded to mock Vance's perceived elitist attitude, stating that he seemed like 'one of those guys who thinks if you don't live the life he has in mind for you, then you don't count.' He further criticized Vance's comments about physical commitment to the country, saying, 'Our commitment to the country was pretty damn physical' when he deployed to Afghanistan without having children.
