Wednesday Addams is returning to screens in two parts. The first part of the second season will air on August 6, with the second part following on September 3. Fans can get a sneak peek of what's to come in a newly released teaser.

The series, created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, follows Wednesday as she navigates life at Nevermore Academy, a school where she hones her psychic abilities. In the first season, Wednesday discovered a series of murders linked to her parents, Morticia and Gomez, who had attended the school 15 years prior.

The teaser shows Wednesday at an airport security checkpoint. She sets off the alarm and must empty her pockets, revealing an array of weapons, including brass knuckles, pepper spray, knives, nunchucks, a taser gun, and a twin-spiked ball flail. The alarm was actually triggered by her sunscreen. Her pet, Thing, is also found in her bag with a mysterious yellow container.

The upcoming season promises more horror and less teen romance. It will also delve deeper into the relationship between Wednesday and her mother, Morticia. New family members will be introduced, and several actors, including Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzmán, and Isaac Ordoñez, who plays Wednesday's brother Pugsley, have been promoted to series regulars.

A spin-off focusing on Uncle Fester is also in the works. The second season will feature Fred Armisen reprising his role as Uncle Fester, along with new cast members like Billie Piper, Steve Buscemi, Joanna Lumley, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, and Noah Taylor. Lady Gaga will make a guest appearance.

The new season is shaping up to be bigger and more twisted than the first. Fans can expect more of the dark humor and eerie atmosphere that made the first season a hit.
