Paris Hilton is back after an 18-year hiatus with her highly anticipated sophomore album, 'Infinite Icon.' She claims she's here to 'save pop music,'  a bold statement considering the genre's current state. Hilton's first album, 'Paris,' was a bubbly reflection of her early 2000s party girl persona. Think 'Stars Are Blind' and endless nights out. But 'Infinite Icon' promises something deeper. 

Hilton says this album delves into her personal journey and reflects a more introspective side. Think 'ADHD,' a song reframing the diagnosis as a superpower, or 'Legacy,' a tribute to her husband, children, and fans. The lead single, 'I'm Free,' featuring Rina Sawayama, celebrates autonomy and borrows inspiration from Ultra Naté's iconic track of the same name, which held special meaning for Hilton during her recovery from the trauma of her time at Provo Canyon School.

But can a reimagined pop princess with a new message truly 'save' a genre that's constantly evolving? 

Hilton teamed up with Sia, who executive produced the album and believes Hilton was 'born to be a popstar.' They brought together a powerhouse team of female collaborators, including Megan Trainor, Megan Thee Stallion, and Maria Becerra. This all-female creative force aims to empower women through music.
