A recent survey has sparked some unease among Republicans.  The survey reveals that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is making waves with his health initiatives.  Kennedy's "Make America Healthy Again" agenda has some Republicans worried.  They fear it might backfire in the midterm elections.  The concern is that his policies could drive up costs for farmers and consumers.  This is a big deal because voters are already upset about high prices.

    Kennedy's push for healthier food choices has put him at odds with the food industry.  He's targeting synthetic food dyes and artificial additives.  He also wants to stop food stamps from being used on soda and candy.  This has some Republicans on Capitol Hill worried.  They're not sure if his plans will work or if they'll just make things more expensive.

    There's a divide among conservatives.  Some love Trump's plans to cut taxes and reduce regulations.  Others are drawn to Kennedy's ideas of protectionism and higher taxes on the rich.  This split is clear in the latest polls.  Nearly 60% of likely Republican primary voters said they would be less likely to support a candidate who backs Kennedy's food regulations.  But over 40% said they would be more likely to vote for a candidate who sides with Kennedy, even if it goes against Trump.

    Kennedy's popularity is on the rise.  A recent poll shows that 42% of U. S. adults view him favorably.  This puts him on par with Trump and ahead of some other big names in politics.  The survey also shows that Kennedy's health agenda has some strong points.  It's not all bad news for him.

    Meanwhile, President Donald Trump has been busy reshaping U. S. foreign policy.  His recent trip to the Persian Gulf has been quite the spectacle.  He started his tour in Saudi Arabia, where he secured hundreds of billions of dollars in business investments.  This trip was different from his first term.  He didn't visit Israel this time around.  Instead, he focused on building ties with other countries in the region.

    Trump's visit to Saudi Arabia was a stark contrast to Biden's muted reception in 2022.  Biden had promised to make Saudi Arabia a "pariah" state over the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.  Trump, on the other hand, has been more welcoming.  He's shown a knack for high-wire diplomacy and personal connections.  His trip has been all about royal welcomes and unexpected diplomatic moves.
