Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter tour is finally here, but fans are not rushing to buy tickets.  The tour kicks off at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.  The tour is set to visit 32 stadiums across the US and Europe, wrapping up in Las Vegas on July 26.  However, this tour is not selling out as quickly as her previous ones.  There are over 3, 000 seats still available at the opening show, just hours before the concert.  This is a big change from her past tours, which sold out almost instantly.

    Some insiders blame resellers for the slow ticket sales.  These are people or companies that buy up lots of tickets and sell them at much higher prices.  This makes it hard for regular fans to afford tickets.  But there is some good news.  Ticket prices have started to drop.  Some resale tickets for the SoFi Stadium show are now as low as $20.  This is even cheaper than a McDonald's limited edition Minecraft Movie Big Mac Meal, which costs around $21. 39.

    Fans have been talking about the high ticket prices since the tour was announced in February.  Some tickets were priced at hundreds or even thousands of dollars.  But now, with prices dropping, more fans might be able to afford to go.  Some fans are even happy about the lower prices, saying the original prices were too high.

    The tour's promoter, Live Nation, says the tour is 94% sold out across all dates.  This means there are still some tickets left for fans to buy.  But why are tickets not selling as fast as before?  Some people think it might be because of Beyoncé's connection to disgraced music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs.  Diddy is currently in jail awaiting trial for sex trafficking and racketeering.  In December, Jay-Z was accused of raping a 13-year-old in 2000 alongside Diddy, but the lawsuit was later dismissed.

    Despite the rumors, Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter album was a huge success.  It topped the Billboard 200 chart, and the lead single Texas Hold 'Em hit No. 1 on the Hot 100 and the Country chart.  She even won Album of the Year and Best Country Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards.  Her previous tour, the Renaissance World Tour, was also a massive hit, grossing $579 million and becoming one of the top 10 highest-grossing tours in history.

    So, while the tour might not be selling out as fast as expected, it's still a big deal.  Fans who have been holding out might finally get a chance to see Beyoncé live.  And with ticket prices dropping, it's a good time to buy.  But is this a sign of things to come, or just a blip?  Only time will tell.
