Robert Durst, the real estate heir, has been at the center of a whirlwind of controversy and intrigue for years. His reputation as a serial killer has been wrapped in mystery, with many wondering how he managed to evade justice for so long. A new true crime series on Peacock is set to shine a light on the stories of the women who were killed by Durst, as well as the detectives who were convinced he was a more prolific killer than initially thought.

One of Durst's earliest victims was Kathleen McCormack, who disappeared in 1982. Durst claimed he had last seen her on a train to New York City, but her body was never found and it wasn't until 2016 that he was officially charged with her murder. Morris Black, a neighbor of Durst's, was killed in a confrontation with Durst in 2001. Durst claimed self-defense, but was later found guilty of evidence tampering and violating his parole.

The new series will explore the stories of these women, as well as the detectives who worked tirelessly to uncover the truth about Durst's crimes. With exclusive interviews and previously unseen footage, the show promises to provide a fresh perspective on one of the most infamous cases in American true crime history.
