Ukraine has been hitting back at Russia in a big way. They recently attacked some of Russia's oil refineries. These refineries are super important because they help Russia make money for its war. The Ukrainian military shared some cool footage from drones and planes. It shows missiles flying and explosions happening.

The attacks happened early Saturday morning. Two big refineries in Saratov and Novokuybyshevsk were hit. The Saratov refinery processes a lot of oil. Up to seven big explosions were reported there. The Novokuybyshevsk refinery is even bigger. It makes jet fuel for Russia's fighter jets. Five huge explosions rocked this place, and there were fires too.

Ukraine has been doing this for a while. They keep targeting these refineries to weaken Russia's economy. The idea is to make it harder for Russia to fund its war. Ukraine's military said these attacks will hurt Russia's ability to make fuel and lubricants for its military.

This is not the first time Ukraine has targeted these refineries. They did it before in March and even in March 2024. It shows that Ukraine is serious about cutting off Russia's oil money. It's a smart move because oil is a big part of Russia's economy.
