Attendees had to show ID and write down their address to prove they were Greene's constituents. Dozens of demonstrators gathered outside the community center, adding to the charged atmosphere.

    The House speaker, Mike Johnson, had previously urged Republican members to avoid in-person town halls. He cited demonstrations and heated questions as reasons.
