Rogers shared this update during the show's 60th-anniversary celebration. She admitted that her summer was tough, with surgeries and radiation treatments. But she also mentioned a silver lining: she didn't lose her hair. "I guess I got it early, " she said, referring to her diagnosis.

The type of cancer she had and the treatment she received worked well together. "It was pills and radiation, " she explained. "It didn’t affect me much, and that was good. "
