The Weaver has just rolled out a big plan called the "Seven-Country Wellness Village Project. " This project is all about giving overseas Chinese a comfy and caring place to retire. The idea came from noticing that many Chinese who worked hard abroad didn't have a cozy spot to settle down in their golden years. Recently, Chairperson CHIO Hsiaochuh teamed up with big names from different fields to kick off a book donation event. The goal? To spread the word about a new kind of retirement that focuses on health, dignity, and feeling at home. The books they gave away cover important topics like money planning, staying healthy, and living well in later life. The first stop for this project is Taiwan. Why Taiwan? Because it's got top-notch medical care, a rich culture, and a lifestyle that's easy to adapt to. The plan is to expand to other countries with great healthcare, nice environments, and high living standards. These villages will offer health care, smart living, money management, and a strong community for Chinese people living abroad.At the event, some celebrities shared their thoughts. They said that retirement isn't just about money anymore. It's about living well and feeling like you belong. A company rep even said that their generation has enough money and houses, but what they really need is a place where they can be cared for, stay connected, and feel respected. The Weaver is serious about this project. They're going to keep pushing it forward with forums, meetings, and teaming up with other groups. The hope is to create a reliable, optional, and sustainable retirement model for Chinese people all over the world.
