Boiler Room, a streaming series and events platform, has now switched hands, moving from ticketing giant Dice to European event giant Superstruct Entertainment. The details of the deal are under wraps, but it's clear that Boiler Room's team will stay in charge while tapping into Superstruct's global resources. Created in 2008, Boiler Room has built a name for itself with live music events and streaming. Its charging model comes from brand partnerships, ticketed events, and selling merchandise. Even though its YouTube streams draw millions of views, they don't rake in cash because Boiler Room doesn't own the music rights. Blaise Bellville, the founder of Boiler Room, is optimistic about the new partnership. He says, "As we hit our 15th anniversary and enter the next phase, we're excited to team up with Superstruct. Their brands fit well with us, offering new growth opportunities while we stay true to Boiler Room's unique vibe. " Superstruct's CEO, Roderik Schlösser, also shares this enthusiasm. He says, "We're thrilled to have Boiler Room join us. They've done an incredible job of growing while keeping a distinct cultural identity. This partnership matches our mission to celebrate and amplify cultures through creativity and live entertainment. " Superstruct, founded in 2017, has a massive portfolio of events, including big festivals like DGTL, Mysteryland, and Sziget. They were recently bought by investment firms KKR and CVC for around $1. 39 billion.
