Hwang Dong-hyuk, the mastermind behind Squid Game, is already cooking up his next big project. Netflix has given the green light to "The Dealer, " a gripping casino crime drama that's sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats. The story follows Geonhwa, a talented casino dealer who finds her life turned upside down when her wedding plans fall apart due to a housing scam. Forced back into the world of illegal gambling, Geonhwa discovers she has some serious supernatural skills that give her an unfair advantage at the tables. The drama is set to be directed by Choi Young-hwan, a well-known cinematographer who has worked on some major Korean films.The cast is stacked with top-notch actors. Jung So-min takes on the role of Geonhwa, a departure from her usual roles, playing a woman with hidden powers. Ryoo Seung-bum plays Hwang Chisu, a gambler who's always on the brink of financial ruin. Lee Soo-hyuk is Jo Jun, a cool-headed casino player with a poker face that's impossible to read.
