So, what's his secret? Well, Peter says it's a mix of good genes and a whole lot of love from his family. He's especially close to his daughter, Diane Vourderis, who's been a huge support throughout his life. Born on Christmas Day in 1925, Peter has seen a lot of history unfold. He's lived through the terms of 17 different U. S. presidents, from Calvin Coolidge to Donald Trump. He's also a proud veteran, having served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.Before retiring, Peter had a successful career in the insurance industry. But once he hung up his work hat, he became a gentleman farmer, tending to his vegetable gardens with pride. He also had a bit of a gambling streak, enjoying trips to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. These days, he's known as the "Bingo King" at Sunrise Senior Living of Staten Island, where he's become quite the popular resident. Peter's life hasn't been without its challenges. He lost his wife, Stella, in 1994, after 44 years of marriage. But he's found joy in his family, including his two children, five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. He's especially fond of his 9-year-old great-granddaughter, Sienna Scotti. Now, let's talk about the other birthdays happening this week.
