AI Code Builders Turn Crypto Apps Safer
United KingdomSat Apr 11 2026
A new effort joins forces with an AI group and a coding platform to help people write safer programs that move money on blockchains. The plan focuses on a feature called “vibe coding, ” where a developer can type a simple description of an app and the system instantly creates the full smart‑contract code. While this speeds up work, it also raises the danger that AI could produce buggy or insecure scripts that attackers might exploit.
The partnership says it is not about racing to ship the fastest code. Instead, the goal is to give creators of apps that handle real money a reliable environment. To protect users, the platform will let developers run their AI‑generated contracts through external security auditors and automated checks before they go live. One of the founders explained that the company already works with audit firms and has its own AI tools for preliminary reviews, but it warns that these are not a substitute for human evaluation on mainnet projects.
The coding hub is built to fit with a new blockchain called ASI:Chain, created by an AI collective that includes several major players. By connecting with this network, developers can write, test, and launch decentralized applications from a single interface. The team is also creating “blessed templates” that embed safety checks for formal‑verification languages, making it easier to build reliable contracts.
Although the platform can speed up development, the creators make it clear that no security guarantees are offered. They describe themselves as enablers for Web3 builders, not as a safety net.
This collaboration comes at a time when AI agents are stepping into crypto, handling wallets, trades, and other financial tasks on chain. The move is part of a broader push to replace the industry’s “patch‑and‑pray” mindset with designs that aim for correct-by-construction code, reducing the chance of costly mistakes.
