Meta, the company behind Facebook, is shaking things up in the world of artificial intelligence. They're creating a new team called Meta Superintelligence Labs, or MSL for short. This team will focus on developing AI that's super smart, maybe even smarter than humans.

The big boss at Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, made this announcement. He thinks this new AI could be a game-changer. To lead this team, he's bringing in Alexandr Wang. Wang used to run a company called Scale AI, which helps teach AI systems. Zuckerberg seems really impressed with Wang, calling him one of the best founders of his time.

But why is this a big deal? Well, AI is everywhere these days. It's in our phones, our cars, even our homes. But most AI can't do much more than follow simple instructions. Meta wants to change that. They want to create AI that can think and learn like a human, maybe even better.
