J. J. Abrams' Bad Robot Strikes New Deal with Warner Bros.

After 18 years at Warner Bros. Television, J. J. Abrams' Bad Robot has signed a new two-year, non-exclusive deal with Warner Bros. This deal gives Bad Robot a first look at both films and TV shows. This comes after a previous five-year exclusive deal worth $250 million ended in 2022. The TV market has changed since then, with fewer and less expensive overall deals.Bad Robot has been busy recently. They launched several shows this summer, like "Caped Crusader" on Prime Video and "Presumed Innocent" on Apple TV+. Plus, they released three documentaries. They have more shows coming up, including "Duster" on Max. On the film side, they have several projects in development, with "Flowervale Street" set for release in 2025. Abrams is also directing a mystery film for Warner Bros. , starting production in early 2025.
