New Shops & Eats Coming to Reno’s South Mall

The south side of the city is getting a fresh mix of stores and restaurants. A popular fashion retailer just opened its first Reno outlet, taking over a former loft spot and drawing many visitors on opening day. A jewelry boutique that sells watches, bags and sunglasses will also open soon, moving into the space once held by a cosmetics chain. Foodies can look forward to a donut shop known for its soft, chewy treats and Korean‑style corndogs, which has already opened a location elsewhere in the city.A breakfast chain that started on the West Coast will soon open a branch next to a local café, offering classic morning dishes. A pizza brand is adding its fifth northern Nevada location, with a new store under construction beside the breakfast spot. A bar that serves burgers and tacos will be the first of its kind to enter the market, pending permits. Finally, a Greek eatery known for gyros and baklava will also open after paperwork is completed, while one of its other locations already serves customers downtown.
