This plan aims to reduce harmful chemicals in the environment. The EPA will release more details about MAHA in the new year. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) has studied these chemicals. They found that phthalates can cause health problems in animals. These problems include early puberty, reproductive issues, and hormone disruption. However, there are limited studies on the effects of phthalates on humans. The EPA's move is a step towards better protection for workers and the environment. It shows that science-based decisions can lead to positive changes.
