Marvel's New Avengers Squad: Who's Back and Who's New?

Get ready to see some familiar faces and meet new heroes in the upcoming Marvel movie. The cast list for "Avengers: Doomsday" has been revealed, and it's a mix of old favorites and fresh faces. The Russo brothers, who directed some of the previous Avengers films, are back to direct this one.
Chris Hemsworth will once again play Thor, the god of thunder. Anthony Mackie, who took over the role of Captain America, is also returning. He'll be joined by Danny Ramirez, who plays Joaquin Torres, the new Falcon. Sebastian Stan will reprise his role as Bucky Barnes, also known as the Winter Soldier. Paul Rudd will return as Scott Lang, better known as Ant-Man. Letitia Wright, who took over the Black Panther role, will be back as Shuri. Winston Duke, who played M'Baku in "Wakanda Forever, " is also returning.
Some new characters are joining the Avengers team. Vanessa Kirby will play the Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn will be the Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach will portray the Thing. These actors are known for their roles in "The Fantastic Four: First Steps, " which is set to release this summer. Florence Pugh, David Harbour, Wyatt Russell, and Lewis Pullman will also be joining the team. They are known for their roles in "Thunderbolts*. "Simu Liu, who played Shang-Chi, is also part of the cast. Tenoch Huerta Mejía, who played Namor in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, " is also in the movie, but his role is unclear. Kelsey Grammer, who played Beast in the "X-Men" films, is also returning.
It's been six years since the Avengers last teamed up on screen to defeat Thanos. Since then, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has introduced new characters like Shang-Chi, Wright's Black Panther, and the Eternals. Iron Man's death in "Endgame" was a big deal, but it turns out it's not the last fans will see of Robert Downey Jr. He will play the villainous Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom in the upcoming "Avengers" film. This news was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con last year.
Marvel has a lot coming up. "Thunderbolts*" is set to release on May 2, and "The Fantastic Four: First Steps" will hit theaters on July 25. "Avengers: Doomsday" is scheduled for May 1, 2026. Fans are excited to see how these new characters will fit into the Avengers team and what challenges they will face in the upcoming movie.
