This Christmas, Sandringham House might feel a bit emptier than usual. Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie are set to miss the traditional Royal Family celebration for the first time since their marriages. Last year, the sisters and their husbands made a special appearance at the Royal walkabout following the Christmas Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church. This year, however, they’ll be spending the holiday with their in-laws instead. Beatrice, who married property developer Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi in 2020, is expecting her second child in early 2025. The couple shares a daughter named Sienna, who is 3, and Edo’s son from a previous relationship, Christopher Woolf, affectionately known as 'Wolfie', who is 8. Meanwhile, Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, have become regulars on the royal social scene. Prince Andrew, their father, will not be participating in this year's Royal walkabout. It’s not just the Royal Family’s gatherings that these princesses are missing; Prince Edward also recently missed a key family milestone. It’s interesting how these royal traditions are evolving with time and the changing dynamics of the family.
