San Ramon Unveils Sunrise Ridge Park: A New Playground for All!

San Ramon, CA, recently welcomed a new addition to its green spaces with the grand opening of Sunrise Ridge Park. Situated at 7500 Faria Preserve Parkway, this 12-acre park offers a variety of amenities. Young kids will love the playgrounds designed just for them, while sports enthusiasts can enjoy lighted synthetic turf fields for baseball, softball, lacrosse, and soccer. For those who prefer courts, there are options for tennis, bocce, and basketball. The park also features shaded picnic areas, restroom facilities, a rose garden, and a walking trail. The grand opening ceremony was filled with local official speeches, a poem by the San Ramon Poet Laureate, interactive sports activities, light refreshments, and opportunities to explore the park's many features and scenic views. Kathi Heimann, the director of San Ramon's Parks and Community Services, expressed her excitement about the new park. She mentioned that Sunrise Ridge Park has something for everyone, from spectacular views and walking paths to various sports courts and playgrounds.
