STEM Success Stories: Celebrating a Quarter-Century of MESA's Impact

For 25 years, the Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Achievement (MESA) program at College of the Canyons has been a game-changer for students aiming to excel in STEM fields. This program is all about giving a helping hand to students who face educational and financial hurdles, providing them with the tools and opportunities they need to succeed. The MESA program is more than just a study group. It offers specialized tutoring, professional development workshops, and even chances to attend conferences. MESA offers two programs: one for first-generation students with financial needs and another called Friends of MESA for students who don't fit the first criteria but still need support.
