Sweden's worst mass shooting took place at a school for adults. It happened at Campus Risbergska. This school is on the edge of Örebro, a city west of Stockholm. A total of 11 people lost their lives, including the shooter. At least 5 people were seriously injured. Three women and two men were in surgery at Orebro University Hospital. Two people had to stay in intensive care. All victims were adults. The school offers different classes for adults. These include primary and secondary classes, language classes for immigrants and vocational training. There are also programs for people with intellectual disabilities. The shooting started after a national exam. Many students had already left for the day. The survivors tried to find safety, scrambling for cover to escape the shooter.
