Top Money-Makers in GTA Online
Los SantosTue Apr 29 2025
GTA Online has been around for a while, offering tons of fun and ways to make money. Businesses in the game have grown a lot since it started, giving players many options to earn cash. However, not all businesses are created equal. Some are better than others, and it's not always about the newest ones.
The Arcade is a good starting point. It might not make you rich quickly, but it opens up the Diamond Casino Heist, which has three different ways to play. Plus, it has a Master Terminal to manage other businesses easily. The Arcade also gives you passive income every day, adding money to your safe without much effort.
The Cocaine Lockup is another solid choice. It can sell for over half a million when fully stocked and is mostly single-player friendly. But be careful, as it can be raided by AI enemies, which can cost you a lot of money if you're not there to defend it.
The Salvage Yard is great for robberies and passive income. With a tow truck, you can collect abandoned vehicles for small missions that pay around $25, 000 a day. It might not seem like much, but it adds up over time.
The Hangar used to be one of the worst businesses, but now it's one of the best. A full hangar of the same stock can pay over two million, and it's single-player friendly. However, restocking can take around six to seven hours, and the missions can get repetitive.
The Bunker has a high up-front cost and some sell missions that aren't solo friendly, but it provides a huge amount of income. A full bunker can sell for over $1. 2 million, and you can sell excess weapon parts to Ammu-nation every 48 minutes for $50, 000.
The Auto Shop is enjoyable and mostly runs on its own. Customers leave cars to customize, and you can deliver them yourself or assign a worker. There are also daily Exotic Exports cars to deliver for $20, 000 each, with a bonus for completing the full list.
The Kosatka Submarine isn't a business per se, but it unlocks the Cayo Perico heist, which is quick and profitable. The loot is randomized, so some heists bring in more than others.
The Agency is worth it for the gameplay features alone, but it also provides good cash income. The Dr. Dre heist can be completed solo in just over an hour for a million dollars. Security contracts take around five minutes and can pay up to $70, 000. Every five contracts, the maximum daily passive payout boosts by $500, up to a maximum of $25, 000 daily.
The Nightclub is expensive but provides passive income daily, up to $100, 000 with expensive DJs. Keeping the popularity high can give you $50, 000 a day. It also has room for a lot of stock to sell, collected passively by workers. Special orders for specific stock yield high bonuses, but the sale missions still provide a huge influx of cash.
The Acid Lab is the best business currently available, with huge payouts and only one vehicle required for sale missions. It's the best business to grind through if you're playing without friends. The ability to own an Acid Lab unlocks after completing six missions with Dax, each providing a hefty payout. The Acid Lab itself can rake in over $500, 000 when completely full.
