Ever wondered what women in Colorado think about dating men in their state? A recent online survey by DatingAdvice. com asked 3, 000 single women across the U. S. to describe men from their states in one word. The results for Colorado were a bit surprising. The most common word women used to describe Colorado men was "rude. " This makes Colorado one of the 22 states where women had negative words to describe the local men. Other states had more positive descriptors like "loyal" or "reliable. " Some states even had neutral responses such as "traditional" or "laid-back. " Nationwide, the top word women used was "hardworking, " which was the number one descriptor in six states. Words like "respectful, " "clingy, " "detached, " and "aloof" also ranked high.
The survey also found that 75% of women believe men are the same in dating regardless of where they live. Only 30% of women nationwide wanted to change something about men from their state, with communication style being the top trait they'd like to see improved. The dating scene in Colorado, especially in Denver, has had its share of issues. Many women complain about the "Peter Pan guy" who's only interested in casual fun. Men, on the other hand, feel that women have high standards for income and looks. When asked to guess the word used for Colorado men, guesses ranged widely from "self-centered" to "wook. " But the actual word chosen was "rude. "
