Alan Dershowitz, a well-known lawyer, found himself in a bit of a pickle at a farmer's market. He went to buy some pierogi, but the vendor refused to sell to him. Why? Because the vendor didn't like Dershowitz's political views.

Dershowitz, who has represented some big names, thinks the vendor didn't like him because he defended Donald Trump during his impeachment trial. He also thinks the vendor might not have liked his support for Israel. Dershowitz had worn a shirt that said, "Proud American Zionist, " and the vendor seemed to have a problem with that.

After being turned away, Dershowitz decided to speak his mind. He told other customers that they shouldn't buy from a vendor who refuses to sell to someone based on their politics. He compared it to refusing to serve someone because of their race or gender.

The police showed up, and Dershowitz had a chat with an officer. He said he wasn't causing any trouble and was just exercising his right to free speech. He also said he might take legal action against the farmer's market if they allow vendors to discriminate.

Later, Dershowitz said the market might change its rules to stop this kind of thing. If they do, he'll be happy. The vendor and the market haven't said anything about the incident yet.

This isn't the first time Dershowitz has had a run-in with someone on Martha's Vineyard. Last year, he had a heated argument with comedian Larry David. David didn't like Dershowitz's association with some of Trump's allies.
