The third week of the trial against Sean Combs, also known as Diddy, was filled with shocking revelations from his former employees. One of these former employees, Capricorn Clark, who started as a personal assistant and later became a global brand director for Combs' company, shared her experiences.

        Clark recalled witnessing Combs physically assault his longtime girlfriend, the R&B singer Cassie. She described the incident, which occurred in 2011, as a brutal attack that left her heartbroken. Clark also mentioned that Combs had threatened to kill her if her previous work for rival rappers interfered with her duties for him. She also testified about her own harrowing experience, where she was kidnapped at gunpoint and taken to Cudi’s house by Combs, who was enraged and threatening to kill the rapper. Clark was later fired, allegedly for a fabricated reason.

        The week ended with another former assistant, testifying under the pseudonym “Mia, ” who accused Combs of raping her during her eight-year tenure working for him. She is one of three women expected to testify about alleged sexual assaults by Combs. Combs has denied all charges.

        Outside the courtroom, Cassie, who had testified for four days as the prosecution’s key witness, delivered her third child. This news reached the jury the next day when Cassie’s longtime stylist, Deonte Nash, testified about his close relationship with her. Nash, known for his flair and humor, added a unique touch to the proceedings. He testified about the various names Combs used to address Cassie, including several derogatory terms. Nash also revealed that Cassie had confided in him about her reluctance to participate in Combs’ drug-fueled “freak-off” marathons, where she was pressured to have sex with other men.

        The trial also heard from law enforcement officials about attacks on Kid Cudi’s property. A Los Angeles police officer and an arson investigator testified about a break-in at Cudi’s home and the subsequent firebombing of his Porsche. Prosecutors are trying to link Combs to these incidents, which occurred in December 2011 and January 2012.

        Mia’s testimony painted a grim picture of her time working for Combs. She described being sexually assaulted multiple times, including being forcibly kissed and raped. She also witnessed Combs physically attacking Cassie frequently. Mia’s testimony highlighted the fear and shame she felt, which prevented her from reporting the abuse.

        The defense, meanwhile, hinted that their case might take longer than expected, potentially extending the trial into July. This comes as prosecutors revealed significant changes to their witness list, which could impact the defense’s strategy.
