If you are stuck on today's Strands puzzle, don't worry.  It is June 1, 2025 and the puzzle theme is  "All rise. "  This means the words you are looking for are related to courtrooms.  This is a fun way to learn about the legal system.  There are several words to find.  The main word to find is called the spangram.  It is a word that clearly states the puzzle's theme.  It will go across the entire board.

    The spangram for today is "YOURHONOR. "

    The theme words are ALIBI, MOTION, LAWYER, BAIL, OBJECTION, and COURTROOM.  These words can be found going in any direction.  You will use each letter only once.  The words will be highlighted in blue when you find them.  The spangram will be highlighted in yellow.

    The puzzle is like a crossword mixed with a word search.  It is a fun way to test your vocabulary and problem-solving skills.  You can find the game on the New York Times website or in their games app.  You can play it at your own pace.  There is no time limit or guess limit.  You win when you have used all the letters on the board.

    If you are stuck, you can submit non-theme words to get hints.  If you submit three non-theme words, you can click the "Hint" button.  This will highlight the letters in one of the theme words.  You still have to put the letters in the right order to form the word.

    If you are having trouble, think about what you know about courtrooms.  The phrase "All rise" is often said in courtrooms.  This might help you think of words related to the legal system.  For example, you might think of words like judge, lawyer, or courtroom.  These words might help you solve the puzzle.
