Disney Springs is making waves with a fresh photo opportunity.  A beach-themed backdrop has taken over the Disney PhotoPass Studio.  This new setting is perfect for capturing summer vibes.  It is located in the heart of Disney Springs, between the Arribas Brothers store and the Marketplace Co-op.  The studio is open daily from 11 a. m. to 9 p. m.  Guests can drop by anytime without reservations.  Photos taken here are conveniently linked to the My Disney Experience app for easy downloads.

The beach theme is a hit for the summer season.  It features a blue sky and ocean waves in the background.  The ground is covered in a sand-colored tarp.  Beach props like a sandcastle version of Cinderella Castle, Mickey’s Surf Co. surfboards, and various pool floaties add to the fun.  There is also a wooden fence and tropical plants to complete the scene.

Stitch, the lovable blue alien, is the star of this photo op.  A plush Stitch sits on top of a white lifeguard chair.  Stitch-themed towels and toys are hidden throughout the scene.  This setup is not just for summer fun.  It might also be a nod to the upcoming live-action "Lilo and Stitch" movie.  The film is set to hit theaters on May 23.

The PhotoPass Studio changes its backdrop every few months.  Previously, there was a rose-filled backdrop themed to "Alice in Wonderland" for Valentine's Day.  This beach theme is a welcome change for the warmer months.  It offers a unique way to capture memories at Disney Springs.  The studio has also added a new outdoor photo op for Mother’s Day.  It is a great way to celebrate the special day with loved ones.
