Ghostly particles called neutrinos have been puzzling scientists for nearly a century. These tiny particles are incredibly abundant, with roughly a billion of them for every atom in the universe. This is around half the figure they announced in 2022. The team plans to collect even more data by the end of the year. But why does the neutrino's mass matter? Well, neutrinos are the most abundant particles in the universe. They play a role in the structures that make up the cosmos.
