This makes it even harder to figure out how to stop these deaths.  For example, maybe 20 years ago, a lot of children died from diseases that can be prevented with vaccines.  But today, maybe more children are dying from things like poor nutrition or lack of clean water.  Without knowing the exact causes, it is hard to know what to do to help.

It is also important to note that many of these deaths could be prevented.  This means that there are things that can be done to stop these deaths from happening.  For example, making sure that children have enough to eat and that they have access to clean water can make a big difference.  Also, making sure that mothers have access to good healthcare can help prevent many deaths.  This is because many children die from things that happen during or shortly after birth.

Another big problem is that many of these countries do not have good systems for tracking what kills children.  This makes it hard to know what the biggest problems are and how to fix them.  For example, maybe a lot of children are dying from a certain disease, but if no one is tracking that information, then no one knows to do something about it.  This is a big problem because it means that a lot of deaths could be prevented if the right information was available.

It is also important to think about why these deaths happen in the first place.  Often, it is because these countries do not have the resources to provide good healthcare to their people.  This means that they do not have enough doctors, nurses, or hospitals.  It also means that they do not have enough money to buy the medicines and supplies that are needed to keep people healthy.  This is a big problem because it means that a lot of people are not getting the care that they need.
