Those with stable campsites or RVs were asked to stay the night and leave the next day. The festival grounds, known as "The Farm, " would stay open with food vendors and safety services running.

This is the second time in four years that Bonnaroo has been canceled due to weather. In 2021, heavy floods made the grounds unsafe before the festival even started.
