It shows that there are serious issues with how WPV is handled in these workplaces.

   Let's break down the facts. About one-third of HHCWs face verbal and emotional abuse daily. That's a lot of stress and fear. Even worse, more than half of these workers have experienced physical violence. This violence usually comes from the patients they care for. These numbers are alarming. They highlight the urgent need for better protections and support for HHCWs.

   Despite having policies in place, reporting WPV incidents is not easy. There are many barriers. These barriers make it hard for workers to speak up. This is a critical issue.
