On the former, he reiterated China's support for Palestinian statehood and full UN membership, and called for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. On the Korean Peninsula, he expressed support for a transition from an armistice to a peace mechanism, and warned against external meddling in the region.

Throughout his speech, Wang emphasized China's commitment to promoting human rights, which is often a contentious issue. He argued that no country should infringe on another's internal affairs in the name of human rights, and insisted that China had chosen its own path to human rights development.
