The team also looked at how fast and how much the MIP-MS could soak up NPT. They found that it followed a certain pattern, like a well-behaved student following the rules. This pattern is called the pseudo second-order model for how fast it works, and the Langmuir model for how much it can hold. These models helped show that the MIP-MS has special spots just for NPT.
